Outcome Full healing after 7 – 10 days, with complete disappearance of all purulent necrotic matter.
CONCLUSION Onemytis® was used, at low intensity, as a treatment that promotes healing by stimulating granulation tissue. Concomitant disinfectant and antibacterial action. As in this case, Onemytis can be used, at low intensity and on superficial wounds, without requiring local anaesthetic or sedation. The use of plasma technology favours cell regeneration and the production of collagen.
Outcome to 7 days dermal spots were excised and the wound appears completely closed
CONCLUSION Using Airplasma® technology it was possible to treat several cases of moderate and intermediate entropion, with an innovative and non-invasive technique. This technique consists in treating the area around the eye with a medium – low intensity beam. The consequent contraction of the skin causes the outward eversion of the eyelid rima. In no case was there any incision, local anaesthetic or suturing. This not only made it possible to solve the problem, but also allowed an easier and more practical intra- and post-operative management.
